February is Heart Month!
Be smart and care for your heart! It’s easy to care for your heart when you know how. Hypertension Canada directs us to do just that….by…exercising regularly, eat a healthy diet of fruit and vegetables, plant based proteins, lower your saturated and trans fats, lower the salt content in your foods, and quit smoking.
My goal in 2021 is to focus more on plant based proteins and to be more mindful of my sodium intake day to day.
I want my heart to give my as many healthy beats for as long as it can for a long healthy life. What’s your heart health goal?
